Throughout our travels, we’ve stayed at some truly amazing hotels and properties. We get frequently asked to compile a list of our favourite places we’ve ever stayed at, so here it is. Enjoy!
From igloo hotels in freezing Finland to 5-star luxury hotels in the Dubai sun – we’ve got you covered all around the globe.
Levi, Finland
The Northern Lights Village in Levi, Finland, is hands down the best property we’ve ever stayed at so far. Not only are the iconic igloo huts so cozy and cute, they also offer the perfect panoramic opportunity to witness the incredible northern lights – which we did!
During our stay, we also got to experience a full Finnish breakfast, go husky sledding and reindeer riding. Truly an unforgettable, immaculate stay.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates
This was one of our first times that we lived up in the lap of luxury. After being out in the hot Arabian desert, all we wanted was to relax in an established, 5-star property – and the Paramount Hotel Dubai was the perfect candidate!
Featuring a stunning rooftop pool and bar area, multiple restaurants and interior design that’s fit for a Hollywood set, the Paramount Hotel Dubai offers premium quality without breaking the budget.

Grindelwald, Switzerland
Picture the perfect warm enclave in the middle of a beautiful winter wonderland. That’s what you get at the Hotel Belvedere in gorgeous Grindelwald. Nestled in between the iconic Swiss mountain peaks, Hotel Belvedere offers sweeping views and an outdoor jacuzzi to boot!
We loved our stay here thanks to the friendly hospitality of the staff, delicious breakfast buffet and awesome location – right near Grindelwald train station.

Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
World-class charm meets classical interior design and architecture in Kyrgyzstan’s best 5-star hotel. With immaculate reviews of helpful staff, beautiful rooms, a wellness retreat area and fantastic dining options, the Orion Hotel Bishkek truly had it all.
We were so impressed with the hotel’s vast pool and jacuzzi area, as well as the amazing dining options on display at their restaurant. If you’re looking for a luxury enclave in one of Central Asia’s most underrated countries, this is it.

Pyeongchang, South Korea
This was one of our first tastes of luxury in Asia, and boy, were we spoilt rotten! The InterContinental Alpensia Pyeongchang was conveniently located within a 3-4-minute walk to Pyeongchang’s ski slopes, as well as many restaurants.
The rooms were modern, clean, spacious, and offered scenic views of the ski resort. This truly is a world-class hotel in our favourite South Korean ski resort location.

Payangan, Indonesia
Bali is absolutely filled to the brim with luscious 5-star resorts, but the Padma Resort Ubud stands out to us because of its endless activities. With an infinity pool, a garden trail and a renowned wellness spa, there’s so much to do here.
With a blend of traditional Balinese architecture and modern interior touches, the Padma Resort Ubud is a true Balinese relaxation resort treat.

Bangkok, Thailand
The first thing that comes to mind when I think about the 137 Pillars & Suites in Bangkok is ‘Best. Infinity Pool. Ever’. I booked a stay here mainly for the breathtaking rooftop infinity pool that overlooks the entire Bangkok metropolitan area, but the rest of the property doesn’t disappoint either.
With a clean, modern aesthetic, the 137 Pillars & Suites in Bangkok is an amazing choice for those looking for luxury in Thailand’s capital.

Melbourne, Australia
We were looking for the perfect staycation in Melbourne and we found it at the QT Melbourne. Located at the heart of Melbourne CBD, close to attractions such as Fed Square, Flinders Street Railway Station and the National Gallery of Victoria, the QT offered a quirky, upbeat alternative to the traditional 5-star hotel.
With a zesty spirit and boutique interior touch, our QT Melbourne stay will always be a memorable one.

New Delhi, India
New Delhi is chaotic and hectic in every sense of the word, so we were looking for a getaway – and The Connaught, New Delhi provided just that. As the name suggests, The Connaught is located in Connaught Place – one of the main financial, commercial and corporate centres in India’s capital.
In walking distance to malls, shops and restaurants, The Connaught also features a serene outdoor pool for you to cool off in.

Guraidhoo, Maldives
The Maldives is home to some of the world’s most outrageously lavish resorts in the world, but not all are affordable to the everyday traveller. Luckily, the Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma offers a happy medium between comfort, luxury and affordability.
While it still retains the classic features you would want out of a Maldives holiday (think – overwater bungalows, fine dining restaurants, blue water beaches), it is significantly more affordable than other resorts on this atoll nation.
